the role
we're seeking a video editor to create high-quality, engaging video content for nysonian's portfolio of global brands. You'll be responsible for turning raw footage into scroll-stopping content that drives brand storytelling and marketing performance across platforms.
what you'll do
* edit and produce video content for social media, paid ads, websites, and campaigns
* craft strong narratives with effective hooks, pacing, and storytelling
* work with ugc, influencer content, and brand shoots to produce polished deliverables
* add motion graphics, captions, music, and sound design to elevate videos
* repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (tiktok, instagram reels, youtube shorts)
* collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align content with brand goals
* ensure all content meets brand guidelines and quality standards
* stay current with video trends, editing styles, and platform best practices
* manage multiple projects with fast turnarounds while maintaining quality
what we're looking for
* bachelor's degree in media, film, communication, or related field (preferred)
* 2–4 years of video editing experience in a fast-paced environment (agency, d2c, or ecommerce is a plus)
* proficiency in adobe premiere pro, after effects, final cut pro, or similar tools
* experience using ai tools such as runway ml, veo3, et al is a plus.
* strong understanding of tiktok, instagram, youtube, meta content formats
* ability to edit for storytelling and performance marketing (ctr, engagement, roas)
* experience with motion graphics, basic animation, and sound editing
* strong portfolio showcasing creative, high-performing content
