This position is 100% remote, based in mexico, and will report to the director of strategy and business development. As the strategy & business development manager you will - develop and execute strategic growth initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall company goals. - analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion. - explore and build excitement internally around new growth paths and business verticals that complement and boost our core business. - establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players, financial institutions, and government organizations to enhance our market presence and drive growth. - conduct detailed financial and operational analyses to support decision-making and improve business performance. - collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop new product offerings tailored to the unique needs of our target customers in emerging markets. - drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization. - present insights and recommendations to senior management, and support the execution of key initiatives. Who you are - bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field - approximately 3 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a top-tier consulting firm and 1 year in a startup environment - ability to analyze the market and spot opportunities for growth, with or without prior fintech industry experience - exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to synthesize complex data and translate it into actionable insights - excellent communication and presentation skills, both in spanish and english - entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong drive for results and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders - fluent in spanish and english required - agile, versátil, and responsive approach to work - enthusiastic, positive, friendly and a great sense of humor!
