Business development manager
key responsibilities
1. Business development
• lead front-end business development in local energy storage market
• proactively identify new business opportunities, including energy storage projects, partnerships with local stakeholders, and market expansion initiatives
2. Market research & analysis
• conduct in-depth analysis of trends, policies, and the competitive landscape in local energy storage, ipp, epc, and equipment markets
• provide actionable insights to inform company market strategy
3. Client relationship management
• develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including ipps, epc contractors, local governments, and power grid companies
• drive project cooperation and achieve business targets
4. Project development
• manage the full project development process from opportunity identification, preliminary discussions, solution alignment, to contract negotiation and signing
• ensure smooth and timely project execution
5. Internal coordination
• coordinate internal resources (technical, product, legal, etc.) to support client communication and project execution
• resolve issues arising during business development and project promotion
qualifications
• language: fluent in español and english with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• experience: minimum 5 years in sales or business development within the energy sector; experience in energy storage, ipp, epc, or energy equipment companies preferred
• market knowledge: familiarity with local energy policies, power market regulations, and energy storage value chain; deep understanding of local market demand and project operation models
• skills & attributes: proactive, market-sensitive, strong problem-solving ability, able to work independently under pressure, with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
