provide courier services directly to customers on a daily basis, including driving, customer service, and completing any related administration or paperwork.
provide efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages and documents while representing the company in a professional manner.
operate non-articulated vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with all governmental and corporate procedures.
accomplish accurate and timely selection and inspection of assigned packages and subsequent reporting of stop counts and miss-sorts.
seek additional business from current customers, attempt to gain new business (pass leads to sales department), and inform sales department of significant changes in customer use or competitor actions.
answer customer questions on fedex feature of service and keep customers informed about the company and its services.
ensure packages conform to fedex features of service; properly label them and complete paperwork that is neat and accurate.
determine legality of packages, including special requirements for dangerous goods and international shipments, and separate packages by service type and destination in accordance with established procedures.
scan packages according to prescribed procedures and demonstrate proficiency in features of service and equipment.
ensure customers have adequate supply of fedex materials for shipping.
meet aircraft and transports packages as required for sorting operations.
load and unload aircraft, containers, and company vehicles, and operate mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages.
clean, wash, and perform minor maintenance to company vehicles as necessary and maintain neat and clean personal appearance to uphold company’s public image.

minimum requirements
high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
basic english skills preferred.
one (1) year of experience driving 3.5-ton trucks.
must possess appropriate license for vehicle assigned in accordance with specific country regulations.
good driving record.
must be 21 years old or older.
required skills
ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kgs) and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs (68 kgs) with appropriate equipment.
good verbal and writing communication skills, human relations, and team player.
must be able to successfully complete reading, map reading, sorting, and math sections of the basic skills test.
