we are seeking a skilled financial analyst to join our team. As a financial analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to various business units within the organization.
*responsibilities:*
* account reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts, analysis and issue resolutions related to those accounts
* month-end/year end close activities including journal entries, corporate reporting and ifrs package preparation
* inter and intracompany eliminations, reporting and reconciliations
* sap month end processing including assessments, allocations, and foreign exchange valuation
* assist with ifrs reporting packages preparation
* communicate to central finance team on status of monthly closing including the preparation and submission of sem german gaap reporting
* assist other areas of finance (primarily ar) with various projects and initiatives
*required skills and qualifications:*
to be successful in this role, you will need:
* a deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures
* 1-4+ years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment
* advanced skills in microsoft office (specifically excel)
* ability to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management
* advanced independent analytical and problem-solving skills
