Avanciers is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a Full-Time role for one of our premier client in Mexico for Salesforce Support Engineer
Role Overview
The Salesforce Support Engineer will provide application support, user assistance, and technical expertise across the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of Salesforce development and administration skills, along with a customer-focused approach to supporting business users and resolving technical issues. This role requires balancing support, administration, and development capabilities to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for Salesforce users and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues within defined SLAs.
- Support user onboarding, access management, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security configurations.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
- Analyze user requirements and implement system enhancements.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and automation processes.
- Support release management, testing, deployments, and post-release validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, developers, and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer with production application support and user issue resolution.
- Platform Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
- Core Technical Expertise: Detailed experience with Salesforce Administration, Apex Development, Lightning Experience, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
- Data & Security: Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL and a strong understanding of User Security and Access Management.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within application support or production support environments.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and SQL / relational databases.
- Familiarity with formal Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Active certifications, specifically:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (Preferred)
