The hr generalist is primarily responsible for ensuring that all hr-related policies and procedures comply with the standard legal practices.he/she will also be responsible for providing human resources (hr) services daily, delivering sensible responses and resolutions to employee concerns, and providing support for a wide variety of hr-related activities, including, but not limited to: talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and administrative ad hoc tasks.
key responsibilities:
* assist the recruitment team during the recruitment process, from talent acquisition to onboarding;
* maintain digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records;
* mediate and resolve mid-level employee problems and issues
* assist in the development and administration of compensation programs based on mexican labor laws;
* review and report employee complaints and ensure accurate and timely documentation of concerns and issues;
* facilitate actions to resolve employee issues and escalate complex issues to the hr manager
* ensure that the hr database is accurate in terms of the employee profile (position, manager, etc.)
* maintain confidentiality and accurate hr files.- participate in continuous hr improvement initiatives and metrics
* maintain current working knowledge of mexico compliance and regulatory concerns, industry trends, and best hr practices.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
* at least three (3) years of experience in general human resources
* strong knowledge of mexican employment/labor laws and hr practices.
* ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* proficient in microsoft office suite and hr software applications.-
* proven experience in general hr roles such as compensation and benefits, payroll, administration, and performance management
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- bilingual in spanish and english is preferred.
