about the role
* responsible for assisting the smt process and npi validation according to quality, safety and environmental systems and customer specific requirements.
what you will do
* assist the smt team in performing npi validations.
* develop programs for the paste printer machine, pick and place, aoi for paste printer, aoi for smt, temperature profiles and x ray equipment
* develop and improve the model changeover of the smt line
* make modifications to programs and processes to accommodate engineering changes.
* reduce equipment downtime
* provide solutions to reduce defects
* perform quality inspections of repaired units per checklist
* participate and provide support related to environmental, health and safety objectives, targets and programs.
what you need to be successful
* mechanical/ industrial technician.
* incomplete bachelor’s degree, eng mechanical, electromechanical or similar
* 2-year experience in smt process.

* skilled in manufacturing soldering techniques, including surface mount technology
* must be computer literate as required to carry out the basic functions of the position
* strong verbal and written communication skills.
* ability to work in a dynamic, team oriented and fast paced environment.
* creative problem solving and customer relations skills are a must.
* must be detail oriented and well organized.
