We are hiring for a human resources generalist role. The position covers end-to-end hr activities from daily case handling to onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll, compliance, analytics, auditing, sop creation, and process improvement. The role requires collaboration with finance, it, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth hr operations and compliance across the latam region.
responsibilities
* daily hr task case solving: address employee queries and concerns related to hr policies, payroll, benefits, and compliance; resolve employee grievances; maintain a log of daily hr cases and track resolution times for process improvement.
* employee onboarding: conduct pre-boarding activities (document collection and verification); organize and facilitate orientation sessions for new hires; assign mentors or buddy programs; ensure it, security, and administrative setups are completed before the first day; track new hire progress and engagement during the probation period.
* employee relations & engagement: develop and implement employee engagement activities; conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions; act as a mediator in employee disputes and foster a positive work environment; conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention.
* training & development for new joiners: assess training needs based on job roles; develop training materials; schedule and conduct training sessions; evaluate training effectiveness; maintain training records and provide ongoing learning opportunities.
* payroll & benefits management: process payroll accurately; manage benefits such as health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans; address payroll discrepancies; stay updated on tax regulations; coordinate with finance for audits and reporting.
* compliance & hr policies (latam region): ensure adherence to local labor laws; regularly update hr policies; conduct compliance training; handle employment contracts, terminations, and workplace disputes; maintain documentation for audits.
* hr analytics & reporting: collect and analyze hr metrics and employee satisfaction; prepare reports and dashboards; use data-driven decision-making to improve hr processes; implement hr technology solutions to automate functions.
* auditing daily hr cases: perform regular audits of hr records; review employee files and case resolutions for compliance; identify trends and suggest corrective actions; implement best practices for case management and record-keeping.
* sop creation: develop standard operating procedures for all hr functions; document onboarding, payroll processing, grievance handling, etc.; keep sops updated with regulatory and organizational changes; train hr staff on sop adherence.
* process implementation & improvement: identify gaps in existing hr processes and recommend improvements; implement hr best practices; automate repetitive tasks through technology; monitor implementation and track efficiency gains.
