about the role
our us-based client in the financial industry is hiring a business development representative (bdr) to support outbound appointment setting with high-net-worth expats in the u.s., primarily british professionals. This role is focused on initiating conversations, qualifying prospects, and booking meetings directly for the founder.
The position will start as a part-time contract role (20 hrs/week) for the first 1-3 months (during the training and ramp-up period) and then scale to full-time (40 hrs/week) based on performance, with the opportunity to convert into a permanent role after a 3–6 month trial period.
Key responsibilities
run structured outbound outreach campaigns using linkedin sales navigator (approx. 25 messages per day).
Engage expat prospects through multi-touch, multi-week messaging sequences.
Conduct short, conversational qualification calls to confirm investable assets ($500k–$3m+) and understand financial needs.
Book qualified appointments directly on the founder’s calendar.
Track outreach activity and results against clear kpis.
Ideal candidate profile
+3 years of experience as a bdr / sdr, ideally in their 30s–40s with a proven outbound track record.
Excellent written and spoken english; confident, professional communicator.
Strong working knowledge of linkedin sales navigator.
Comfortable discussing high-level financial topics (e.g., investments, retirement accounts, asset allocation).
Experience selling to or qualifying high-net-worth individuals is a strong plus.
British accent or familiarity with british expat culture is a bonus, but not required.
Compensation & growth
base pay: $9–$12/hour, depending on experience ($720 - $960/month approx for a part-time role).
Commission: performance-based structure targeting ~$10k/month for a consistent, high-performing bdr.
Onboarding: start at 20 hrs/week for training and ramp-up; scale to 40 hrs/week once kpis are met. The goal is for this role to be long-term once you are successful in the position.
