About the role: we are seeking an experienced supply chain support specialist to join our global headquarters team. This individual will work closely with the purchasing category manager to support it, engineering, hr, and additional functions in their purchasing needs. The goal is to drive superior value and efficiency for corporate customers of the purchasing process.
key responsibilities:
• execute the source to pay process for purchases using purchasing systems, processes, and financial controls.
• build working relationships with key stakeholders in the business including requisitioners and purchasing leadership.
• coordinate with admin assistants to support executive leadership purchasing activities.
• maintain travel and entertainment (t&e) systems for latest providers and services as sourced.
• ensure that receiving is completed on a timely basis as some items are ordered from one location with delivery to another.
• maintain supplier master data with add/remove/update per the purchasing strategy.
• additional or process support to be determined.
requirements:
• bachelor's degree.
• ~5+ years relevant work experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations.
• skilled in purchasing systems and processes, analytics, ability to effectively communicate through remote meeting tools to serve multiple locations.
preferred skills:
• sap and cms also preferred.
• conversational english.
