the impact you'll make
danfoss mexico is looking for a senior controller for our reynosa campus. As senior controller you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The position acts as a strategic business partner to campus leadership, providing financial insights to support operational efficiency and profitability for all rey campus business units.
what you'll be doing
* lead financial analysis:
lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports.
* budget management:
manage the campus budgeting and planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
* cost monitoring:
monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
* internal controls implementation:
implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
* inventory management support:
support inventory management and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy.
what we're looking for
education level required:
bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (cpa or mba preferred).
experience required:
minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
technical knowledge:
* strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and erp systems (e.g., sap, oracle).
* advanced excel skills.
* financial reporting standards.
* data analysis & forecasting – ability to interpret large data sets and develop accurate financial forecasts.
* internal controls & compliance – experience designing and maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring audit readiness.
* inventory & fixed asset management – understanding of valuation methods, reconciliation processes, and asset tracking.
