As an internal sap pp consultant in our l2 support team, your primary purpose is to provide expert-level support and resolution for sap production planning (pp) module-related inquiries. You will collaborate with internal customers across various regions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment. Your role involves analyzing incidents, creating solution concepts, and implementing customized solutions within the sap ecosystem.
key roles & responsibilities
* manage daily workload activities from incidents, requests, and project tasks, ensuring effective outcomes through collaboration with internal and external it teams and business users.
* independently handle and resolve inquiries related to the sap pp module and 'order to cash' (otc) process from global users.
* analyze customer requirements and incident reports; configure and customize sap pp solutions based on business needs.
* collaborate with other it teams to provide seamless support and reflect organizational responsibilities.
* stay updated on solution directions by borgwarner architecture and design teams, advising customers accordingly.
* document and test processes and functionalities.
* identify opportunities to improve processes and maximize customer value.
* translate non-technical requirements into technical business solutions.
required skills
* bachelor’s degree in business informatics, computer science, or a related field with strong erp experience.
* at least 6 years of experience in sap pp support, preferably in the automotive industry.
* strong knowledge of configuration and customization of the otc process with a focus on sap pp.
* experience working in sap support roles, with effective communication with global/regional it teams and internal customers.
* ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
* results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* ability to work effectively in a multinational team.

* additional knowledge of sap modules like mm, sd, wm, qm, or pm is beneficial.
* knowledge of abap debugging is a plus.
* exposure to itil or other structured service management methodologies.
* comfortable facilitating workshops with small and large groups.
