looking for a trade compliance manager to lead and oversee import/export compliance activities across mexico and latam. This role will ensure compliance with customs regulations, immex/prosec programs, trade laws, export controls, and broker management while partnering with cross-functional teams to support efficient global operations.
key responsibilities
* lead regional trade compliance activities for mexico & latam
* manage customs brokers and import/export operations
* ensure compliance with immex, prosec, vat/ieps, annex 24 & 31
* oversee tariff classification, valuation, origin, and export controls
* support audits, compliance programs, and risk mitigation initiatives
* partner with supply chain, procurement, operations, and finance teams
qualifications
* 5-8 years of experience in trade compliance
* strong knowledge of customs regulations, immex/prosec, and broker management
* experience with export controls and compliance audits
* bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, international trade, or related field
* fluent in english
