This role is instrumental throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through to launch. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in cockpit system development and a strong understanding of engineering standards and validation processes.key responsibilities:- design, release, and validate cockpit components and systems.lead development activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.ensure compliance with design and validation standards including dfmea and dvp&r.contribute to the development of product tooling and manufacturing processes.utilize cad tools and plm systems for efficient design and data management.areas of expertise (preferred):- instrument panel systems and componentsconsole systems and componentsdoor trim systems and componentshardtrim, surface, thermoformed plasticcross car beam structures (welded steel and/or cast assemblies)technical skills & tools:- cad: nxplm: teamcentertooling processes: injection molding, blow molding, foaming, stampingproficient in microsoft office suiterequired qualifications:- bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (e.g., materials science, civil engineering, aerospace)strong knowledge of dfmea, dvp&r, and product validation1 to 2 years of relevant experience required (internships and academic projects like baja sae / formula sae are considered)hands-on experience with baja sae or formula sae is a strong plus
