The Motherson Group is one of the 15 largest and fastest growing full system solutions providers to the integral automotive industry, serving multiple further industries, such as rolling stock, aerospace, medical, IT, and logistics, with over 190,000 employees across 44 countries worldwide.Our facility located in Saltillo, MX is looking for a highly motivated Financial Controller to join our team!The role of the Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and internal control of the plant, ensuring rigorous analysis of the P&L;, reliability of accounting information, compliance with corporate policies, and financial support to operations. Their main objective is to be a strategic partner to plant management, facilitating decision-making through accurate, timely, and actionable financial analysis.Responsibilities:- Prepare, analyze, and explain the monthly results of the plant's P&L; (sales, costs, margins, expenses, variances vs. budget/forecast).- Identify relevant deviations and coordinate action plans with Production, Logistics, Engineering, and Purchasing. Reporting Weekly to the plant.- Ensure proper cost allocation and provisions in SAP.- Supervise the correct valuation of inventories (WIP, FG, scrap, obsolete) and their accounting reflection.- Validate and monitor the impact of claims, scrap, labor efficiency, and productivity.- Actively participate in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and rolling forecasts along with the Senior Finance Manager.- Coordinate with the operations team to translate production plans into financial impacts.- Provide sensitivity analysis and financial scenarios for operational decision-making.- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting and financial policies, as well as local guidelines in coordination with Accounting and Taxes in Mexico.- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely documentation and reconciliations.- Supervise physical inventories and ensure correct valuation and reconciliation with SAP.- Act as a business partner, generating operational financial reports and plant KPIs.- Participate in local committees (production, investments, efficiency), providing financial insight.- Provide advice for CAPEX decisions, cost optimization, and local pricing.Profile:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering with a financial focus.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial control, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry or similar.- Solid knowledge of SAP (CO, FI, MM).- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.- Advanced English (written and spoken).- Analytical skills, results-oriented, ability to work in an operational and cross-functional environment.What we offer:- A pleasant working atmosphere, with good career opportunities.- Build knowledge with exciting and varied assignments.- We show our commitment to our people via the following values:✓ Interest for each other: We act with empathy and care about each other and our counterparts.✓ Togetherness: We work together collaboratively and selflessly.✓ Trust: We say what we mean, keep our promises, and treat others with respect.✓ Respect: We respect and value people of all backgrounds.✓ Enthusiasm: We are curious, ambitious, passionate, humble, and life-long learners.
