Job description: receives export documentation from the country of origin for review and processes import documents in strict compliance with applicable tariff and non-tariff regulations.provides the required information to both u.s. and mexican customs brokers to determine the correct tariff classification.prepares export invoices.provides mexican customs brokers/representatives with necessary information to consolidate export declarations.verifies compliance with import requirements such as permits, taxes, transportation, and labeling (for chemicals).coordinates border crossing with carriers.requests and authorizes customs documents for importation.follows up on reports of irregularities detected in the process.updates the import database.reviews payment of foreign trade duties.processes import permits with cofepris, semarnat, and under rule 8va.receives and reviews documentation from customs brokers.job requirements: bachelor's degree in international commerce or business administration.
