responsibilities
* develop and execute the sales plan to achieve targets.
* drive new business development by identifying opportunities, promoting products, and generating leads through visits, exhibitions, and market research.
* benchmark competitors and analyze market trends to strengthen sales strategies.
* prepare and manage forecasts, budgets, and price quotations in crm.
* participate in industry exhibitions and customer visits to assess needs, promote solutions, and gather insights.
* collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, improve processes, and follow up on critical matters.
* provide regular sales performance reports and ensure company targets are consistently met.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, food science, or related field.
* 10+ years of relevant sales experience in the food industry (colors and/or ingredients strongly preferred).
* strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-oriented team player.
* proficiency in microsoft office (outlook, excel, word, powerpoint, etc.).
* advanced english (written and spoken).

what you will do (zubale)
as our kam, you will be the architect of long-lasting and productive relationships, with a vision that impacts national performance. Your main responsibilities will include:
* strategic key account management: serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of existing clients in mexico, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing the value they receive from zubale.
* new business development (hunting): identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with strategic clients at the national level, expanding our portfolio and market penetration in mexico.
* growth opportunity identification (existing accounts): deeply analyze the operations and objectives of your current clients to identify and develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities for our last-mile solutions.
* account and sales strategy planning & execution: develop detailed account plans and new account sales strategies, set clear objectives, and lead execution to drive retention, product adoption, and revenue growth across your key and newly acquired accounts.
* internal and cross-functional collaboration: work closely with internal teams such as operations/cx, product, and finance to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and efficient resolution of any challenges impacting operations in mexico.
* strategic reporting and analysis: monitor and report key client kpis with a national perspective, identify market trends, and provide valuable insights to both the client and zubale’s leadership regarding performance in mexico and growth opportunities.
