responsibilities
ensure the best possible customer care and satisfaction and conduct acquisition activities in accordance with agreed strategies; prepare and conduct presentations.
monitor market situation, competitor activities, customer requirements and trends to maintain and increase market share over the long term.
suggest project prioritizations and participate in cross-functional workshops and meetings.
inform about customer requirements (general customer potential, product requirements) and exploit the full customer potential; participate in the definition of departmental objectives.
develop and leverage customer potential: identify, compile and analyze customer requirements; build and maintain personal contact with the customer; define the contact matrix and integrate the participating internal organization; achieve all aspects of customer satisfaction; forward inquiries and feedback within the organization; define and monitor the action plan and report progress to the customer.
support (global) customers and (global) hella companies as well as strategically important locations to obtain production contracts; advise customers, involve hella specialist departments if necessary and prepare and present presentations; advise on technical and commercial issues.
coordinate, prepare and track visits by internal or external customers, including all related work; participate in trade shows and exhibitions; and assist internal departments in their preparation.
create quotes and design pricing; conduct annual price negotiations with the customer, if necessary in consultation with the superior.
prepare and conduct negotiations, e.g. acquisitions with a high degree of internationality, change management, cost life cycles, reimbursements, framework agreements.
review all customer contract documents against hella's internal requirements and carry out the necessary internal coordination (legal, quality, program management, etc.).
participate in development projects for the respective customer; initiate/stopp internal developments in consultation with responsible persons; process tasks from internal or external customers and forward these tasks to internal or external customers; initiate product-specific rationalisation and value-added measures in consultation with the program management; process change orders placed by hella or customers after a project phase.
escalate internal and external problems if the promised objectives cannot be achieved.
control a department project, a sales project (national, regional, global) or an important financial kpi (gefit, overdues, dso, sek, qs, etc.).
perform other tasks concerning this body, e.g. review of suggestions for improvement as well as observance of the necessary measures of occupational safety and environmental protection in the field of activity.
qualifications
university degree (licenciatura/ingeniería).
more than 5 up to 6 years of professional experience in sales, account management or commercial areas.
advanced english (indispensable).
ability to manage key client relationships, identify opportunities, needs and business potential.
preparation and conduction of presentations, negotiations and acquisition activities in line with commercial strategy.
monitoring market, trends, competition and client requirements to ensure growth in market share.
preparation of quotes, definition of prices and participation in annual negotiations.
support in visits, events, exhibitions and coordination of global commercial activities.
participation in development projects, change management, contracts and internal reviews with technical, legal and quality areas.
