*what you will do*
- plan and prioritize testing activities;
- write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically;
- define, implement & monitor testing processes for all phases of testing cycle;
- maximize test coverage and identify automation opportunities for any needed features of the system;
- partner closely with engineering and product leads and collaborate on finding efficiencies and identifying areas of improvement;
- write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;
- provide manual testing support for engineering initiatives when required;
- log and document bugs in the tracking system;
- represent qa in all forums & act as focal point of contact for the testing team;
- assist in production issues/live site testing when needed.
*must haves*
- 2 years with automation experience is a must;
- experience in programming languages, such as javascript, java, or python;
- a native level of spanish is required;
- work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore models is a must;
- experience with scrum methodology is preferred;
- exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in being pro-active to raise potential issues within the team and external systems or partners.
*nice to haves*
- deep understanding of ecommerce products, platforms, and technologies;
- experience with scrum methodology is preferred;
- experience with automation testing tools like playwright, helix, selenium;
- mobile automation testing tools for android, ios;
- experience with continuous integration tools such as jenkins, bit bucket, github;
- jira - defect tracking and task creation tool;
- confluence, share point.
