We are looking for a key account manager to lead the strategy and execution of key accounts within the modern trade channel (chedraui and la comer), driving profitable growth, strong in-store execution, and long-term client relationships.
this role requires a balance between strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
responsibilities
* lead commercial relationships with key accounts (chedraui and la comer)
* define and execute commercial strategies to drive profitable growth
* build and implement joint business plans (jbp) with customers
* negotiate commercial conditions (pricing, promotions, assortment, shelf space)
* monitor key business kpis: sell‑in, sell‑out, inventory levels, rotation, fill rate
* ensure strong in‑store execution (visibility, promotions, availability)
* partner with cross‑functional teams (marketing, trade marketing, supply, finance)
* identify growth opportunities by region, format, and category
* track business performance and propose data‑driven actions
what we’re looking for
* experience in fmcg / consumer goods
* proven experience managing modern trade accounts (ideally chedraui, la comer or similar)
* solid understanding of commercial kpis (sell‑in, sell‑out, doh, fill rate, margin)
* experience building and executing joint business plans (jbp)
* strong analytical and decision‑making skills
* results‑oriented mindset with strong execution focus
* excellent communication and influencing skills
