Overview
lm482: global sales exec at fedex. Directly sell all fedex products and services to defined national account customers to generate net incremental revenue and support sales strategies. Collaborate with fedex management to develop and execute sales plans that maximize yield and profitability.
responsibilities
* attain assigned revenue goals by selling fedex services to named accounts as defined by fedex management.
* develop and execute a sales work plan including sales calls, service calls, proposals, vip trips, and other activities defined by fedex.
* maintain account intelligence system recording sales activities, account information, marketplace and industry information, competitive information, and other data as required.
* implement marketing/sales programs and report competitive activity within assigned accounts.
* coordinate with all fedex resources to ensure revenue achievement and customer satisfaction.
* uphold fedex sales directives and provide feedback through appropriate channels.
* coordinate national activities for assigned named accounts and manage problem resolution.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration with major in marketing or finance.
* five (5) years of professional, commercial, or industrial sales experience.
* proven ability to achieve major account sales goals and to plan and execute major customer sales strategies.
* strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* heavy overnight travel required. Fluent in english.
