rts international, part of shamrock trading corporation, is seeking a business development manager to focus on growth opportunities in mexico. This 1099 contract sales position involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts in the region. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, outgoing, ambitious, and dynamic.
what you’ll do
* develop new international business opportunities using strategic sales tactics, including solicitation, client referrals, networking, development of agent relationships, lead generation through seo, etc.
* effectively present and explain complex financial products and their intended value to prospective clients.
* build and maintain new and current international customer relationships via phone and in‑person visits.
* manage and maintain a robust pipeline to achieve monthly sales goals.
* negotiate spreads and maximize profitability on all new business.
* regularly collaborate with agent partners.
* follow up on sales leads and client referrals.
* perform other duties as assigned.
what you’ll bring
* bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of business development experience. Experience in the financial sector or selling services to manufacturers is a plus.
* demonstrated record of success providing professional, solutions‑based sales over the phone and in‑person.
* self‑driven with a proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
* excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills.
* desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment.
* proficiency in the microsoft office suite of products.
* experience selling within mexico.
* native spanish proficiency and english business proficiency required.
* must be able to travel within mexico without restrictions; up to 50% travel required.
* ideally located in any of the following cities: monterrey, guadalajara, or mexico city.
