about the role
the recruiter will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of skilled trades positions, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and ensuring a smooth candidate experience. This person will work closely with the hr and operations teams to fill critical roles efficiently and effectively.
because of the temporary nature of this assignment, the ideal candidate should be self-sufficient, fast-moving, and experienced in blue-collar/skilled trades recruiting.
key responsibilities
 * manage the full recruitment lifecycle for skilled trades positions (installers, electricians, hvac techs, etc.)
 * source, engage, and qualify candidates through multiple channels (job boards, referrals, databases, etc.)
 * screen candidates and ensure alignment with technical requirements and certifications (e.g., electrician licenses).
 * coordinate interviews and communicate closely with hiring managers for fast feedback loops.
 * maintain an organized candidate pipeline and deliver regular status updates.
 * collaborate with internal stakeholders (hr, ops, and leadership) to ensure smooth and timely hires.
 * handle a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environment with minimal supervision.
must-have qualifications
 * 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
 * strong track record filling non-technical / blue-collar roles (construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or similar).
 * ability to operate independently and manage multiple open requisitions.
 * excellent communication and organizational skills.
 * comfortable recruiting for in-office positions across multiple u.s. locations.
 * fluent in english (written and spoken).
nice-to-have qualifications
 * experience recruiting for installers, electricians, or hvac technicians.
 * previous work in construction or related industries.
 * experience working with u.s. clients and time zones.
 * familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ats) or recruiting crms.
