Sales manager, mexicothe sales manager is a hands-on, customer-facing sales role responsible for driving revenue growth through direct relationships with our major retail partners across the mexican market. This role builds on that strong foundation by maintaining trusted customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the business within an established, well-performing market.the sales manager will spend the majority of their time working directly with our mass retail customers (walmart, costco, coppel), managing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating internally to ensure strong execution.this role is based onsite in our mexico city (interlomas) office.key responsibilitiesdirect sales & retail relationship management- serve as the primary point of contact for key retail partners in mexico - maintain direct, working relationships with major mass retail and club customers (e.g., walmart and similar national retailers) - own and manage customer relationships end to end, from line reviews and negotiations through execution and follow-up - build trust with buyers and retail teams through consistent communication and reliable execution - focus on growing revenue, expanding assortments, and improving sell-through within existing accountsfull-cycle sales execution- manage the full sales cycle including opportunity development, pricing discussions, forecasting, order placement, and renewals - lead customer meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions - ensure commitments made to customers are executed accurately and on time - resolve customer issues quickly and professionally to maintain strong relationshipsaccount planning & forecasting- develop account-level sales plans and forecasts - track performance against targets and adjust plans as needed - identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts and across channels - monitor sales trends, promotions, and seasonal performance-internal coordination & dotted-line leadership- coordinate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance to support customer needs - work with key account managers and independent sales representatives as needed through dotted-line coordination - ensure clear communication and alignment across all sales-related resourcesmarket awareness & business insight- stay informed on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity - provide feedback and insights to internal teams to support better decision-making - represent the voice of the customer internallyskills & qualificationsexperience & skills- a passion for cycling and the outdoors! - 5+ years of sales experience in consumer products, retail, or a related industry - proven experience selling directly to large retail customers in mexico (walmart, costco, coppel etc.) - demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships independently and close business - strong understanding of retail sales cycles, forecasting, and account management - excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills - organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused - comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environmenteducationbachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferredlanguage & travel- fluency in spanish and english (written and spoken) is required - willingness to travel within mexico and abroad for customer and company meetings as neededunited wheels inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
