* direct supervision of multiple manufacturing plants in the us and mexico
* serve as the financial business partner to the finance and operations leadership team, advising on the manufacturing network performance. Actively participate in the planning and review of plant-level strategies and objectives
* provide financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting assigned locations / platforms
* develop, recommend and direct all short term and long-range financial plans
* support the development of sound business plans and accurate and reliable financial forecasts
* provide leadership to other executives and managers to ensure financial success within their operational scope, including the achievement of cost improvement and productivity initiatives
* consults with the operational leader in evaluating the financial impact of strategic business decisions through financial analysis and interpretation
* conducts complex financial analyses resulting in creative insights, implications, and recommendations about current and future financial trends and areas for improvement, focus or investment.
* work closely with plant managers and controllers to support monthly process
ci: analyzing the ci work streams for the assigned plants and regions within the network.
* support the validation, analysis, projection and pipeline management of ci projects
* support corporate ci effectiveness reporting and analysis work streams
capital: responsible for supporting capital work stream, including capital planning and analysis
* participation in annual plant capital budget reviews and projections, as well as long term capital planning
* support the analysis of capital spending versus budget and prior forecast
* npv/irr/payback analysis of projects to determine prioritization of capital spending; validate financial savings and test underlying assumptions for soundness
* support sites development and submission of cb2's
* support sites and teams for fixed asset transfers:valuation, approvals, coordination
qualifications
* requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent field, with 7+ years experience of increasing responsibility in a manufacturing environment supporting a plant
* multi plants responsibilities preferred
* effective organization, planning and interpersonal skills required
* manufacturing/plant knowledge required
* must be able to successfully operate with minimal supervision
* strong financial systems and tools knowledge and utilization skills (sap, bpc).
* strong proficiency with excel, as well as proficiency with other microsoft office tools (word, powerpoint, outlook, etc.)
* knowledge of capital budgeting, including irr / npv principals and product costing methodologies
* us valid visa and passport (must)
