Responsibilitiesas a diesel mechanic, you will:diagnose engine and vehicle failures.repair and adjust mechanical failures in simple components of gasoline and/or diesel engines.perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.conduct tuning adjustments as per program.attend roadside assistance calls as required.report maintenance findings and new failures via maintenance report.inform the sc, purchasing and it managers about part installations or replacements between units.fill inventory records.read and record vehicle trip logs.handle documentation for each unit.activitiesadjustments, modifications, and repairs.preventive and corrective maintenance of public transport trucks.qualificationsbasic knowledge of diesel mechanics.at least 1 year of general maintenance experience.at least 1 year of mechanical experience.primary education preferred (not mandatory).working hoursshift options include:monday-friday 9:00 am–6:30 pm & saturday 9:00 am–2:30 pm.monday-friday 11:00 am–8:30 pm & saturday 11:00 am–5:00 pm.rotating shifts: 6:00 am–2:00 pm; 2:00 pm–10:00 pm; 10:00 am–5:00 pm.additional overtime available.salary & benefitsmonthly salary ranges from $14,000 to $21,000 (nominal values).
