Overview
At Henkel, we are looking for a Supply Planner in house NA, to join our global planning team. In this role, you will play a key role in transforming long-term production plans into short-term plans, ensuring that finished product availability is aligned with business objectives and guaranteeing that our supply network in the United States operates efficiently and meets market demand.
Responsibilities
- Translates the mid-term production plan into the short-term plan (planned orders to firm orders) for United States production plants.
- Develops and reviews the short-term production and scheduling plans by line / technology, considering capacity, utilization and timing. Operational Supply Planner is accountable for managing stock transfers until the 1st decoupling point, while the Replenishment Planner manages from the 1st decoupling point to the entire network.
- Monitors daily actuals against weekly production plan and tracks product availability, production schedule adherence, and recommends corrective action for non-adherence.
- Identifies short-term FG requirements in the markets and makes a proposal on allocation based on business priority. Supports inventory analysis by reviewing inventory policies, tracking and managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes.
- Maintains select manufacturing parameters (incl. constraints) and provides inputs for the S&OE;, communicating material availability issues and capacity constraints.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in planning.
- Advanced English, able to negotiate and speak without any problems.
- Experience with Power BI and SAP.
- High level of data analysis.
- High level of problem solving.
