we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical pfmea moderator to join our team in san luis potosí, mexico.
as a pfmea moderator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential failure modes in our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and reliability.
- lead and facilitate process failure mode and effects analysis (pfmea) sessions with cross-functional teams
- analyze manufacturing processes to identify potential failure modes and their effects on product quality
- develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- conduct statistical analysis to prioritize and address high-risk areas
- collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement preventive actions
- maintain and update pfmea documentation and databases
- train team members on pfmea methodologies and best practices
- monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions
- contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
- stay updated on industry standards and regulations relevant to pfmea and quality management
*profile*:
- bachelor's degree in engineering: mechanical, industrial, or related field
- intermediate english
- experience:
- leading pfmea sessions and workshops
- in manufacturing process and quality management systems
- pfmea software tools (desirable)
- project management
- problem solving
- knowledge:
- process failure mode and effects analysis (pfmea) methodologies
- risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- statistical analysis and data interpretation
- six sigma certification -green belt or higher (desirable)
- automotive industry standards (e.g., iatf *) is a plus
