role purpose:
this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic business development director seeking a high-energy work environment where they can make an immediate impact. The chosen candidate will provide key support to a growing international investment and immigration agency in houston, texas, usa.
this position will require a personable candidate that is highly proficient in all business development techniques. The candidate should be proactive, very organized, and responsible and have strong inter-personal and organizational skills. The abilities to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities, multicultural, multi-task and problem solver are all musts.
we seek someone with a proactive, forward-thinking approach and a client service mindset. Open availability to travel in latin america, mexico and to usa. This is a full-time position.
responsibilities:
• business development: develop relationship in mexico with new potential partners for our investment programs. (immigration lawyers, financial advisors, immigration agencies, chambers of commerce, real estate brokers and more.)
• team management: build and manage the investment team.
• partners management: attract, manage and implement the partnership efforts.
• strategic planning: optimize time and resources to maximize results of the team.
• partners events: work with the marketing & events team to coordinate, manage and implement events with partners. (webinars, investors trips and in site events)
• administrative support: report, manage and implement processes
detailed responsibilities:
• design & implement overall business development strategy in mexico.
• develop relationship in mexico with new potential partners for our programs. (immigration lawyers, financial advisors, immigration agencies, chambers of commerce, real estate brokers and more.)
• build the partnership strategy, techniques, and efforts for the next 5 years.
• day to day manage of partners, support, and follow up.
• main point of contact between partners and visa solutions headquarters.
• support partners to provide the right materials, presentations, and other efforts to help them recruit the right people. • attend and drive events, webinars, and other actions.
• manage and support to promote the program to agencies, prospective organizations, chambers, institutions, etc.
• screen investors and provide a shortlist of qualified applicants to visa solutions
• weekly reporting of all results, objectives and challenges from the market
• continuous management and communication with clients to update them about their process (q&a, documents, chats, etc.)
• work independently, organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• other multiple assignments as required.
requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, investment or similar positions.
• proficiency in microsoft office suite with demonstrated expertise in word, excel, and powerpoint. • strong organizational skills.
• strong team-building skills and proven record of managing successful teams.
• excellent oral and written communication skills.
• strong attention to detail.
• ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly.
• must have open availability to travel.
• ability to represent the firm well to external organizations, clients, and vendors.
• advanced spanish & english required .
