*about the role*: this is a remote, full-time consulting position.
*key responsibilities*:
- oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring the timely delivery of technical solutions.
- collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and risk assessments.
- lead cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve dependencies, and mitigate blockers.
- communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- implement best practices in agile and scrum project management methodologies.
- track and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and efficiency within teams.
- manage ai services and product implementations across client projects.
- work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- define business requirements and project roles, ensuring clear communication.
- establish and educate stakeholders on processes for initiating new projects.
- identify staffing and resource needs in collaboration with the director of project management.
- conduct retrospectives on major projects and recommend process improvements, including technological solutions to enhance workflow and efficiency.

*required qualifications*:
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in the software industry, with a minimum of 3+ years of recent hands-on project management experience.
- strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (sdlc) and agile methodologies.
- experience managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- proficiency in project management tools such as jira, confluence, or asana.
- technical knowledge of cloud computing, devops, or software engineering principles is a plus.
