your primaryresponsibility will be accurately assigning diagnostic andprocedural codes to inpatient medical records, ensuring compliancewith coding guidelines and regulations.

- stay abreast ofevolving coding guidelines, regulations, and industry bestpractices through continuous research.

- actively participate in coding audits and qualityimprovement initiatives to uphold and enhance coding accuracystandards.
- maintain optimal productivity levels while adhering toestablished coding quality and efficiency benchmarks.
- upholdstrict patient confidentiality and privacy standards in strictcompliance with hipaa regulations.
minimum qualifications -possession of one of the following ahima credentials: rhia, rhit,ccs, ccs-p; or one of the following aapc credentials: cpc, coc, orcic.
- minimum of 1 year of experience in facility inpatientcoding.
- proficiency in icd-10-cm, icd-10-pcs, cpt and/or hcpcscoding, as appropriate, encompassing comprehensive knowledge ofguidelines and conventions.
- competence in utilizing codingsoftware and electronic health record (ehr) systems.
- stronganalytical aptitude to interpret intricate medical documentationaccurately.
