*job purpose*

dream big children's center is seeking an intake coordinator to join our team.
as the intake coordinator you will be the first point of contact for clients looking for services.
you will share the dream big vision, goals and program with families allowing them to conceptualize how dream big will positively impact their child's life.
you will then walk the family through the intake process ensuring a welcome experience.
*duties and responsibilities*
- act as the first point of contact with prospective clients
- share the dream big program, vision, values and enrollment process
- qualify potential clients
- obtain general patient demographics and insurance information
- answer questions potential clients may have about our services and correctly route calls throughout the organization.
- manage inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering great customer service.
- respond to website, social media and all other inquiries in a timely manner
- track all leads and maintain updated status on the lead tracking system
- prepare and obtain documents required for authorization based on the specific funding source requirements.
- request authorization for insurance services and follow up to ensure authorization is received
- communicate effectively with clients regarding their estimated insurance coverage as provided by internal insurance specialists.
- ensure incoming families complete intake paperwork
- maintain a high level of customer relations through responsiveness and focus on ensuring client satisfaction.
- identify and escalate priority issues.
- retain records of conversations and document resolutions.
- follow defined processes and policies such as compliance to escalations procedures and client support processes.
- provide support to the administrative team including serving as backup for scheduling, hr and other administrative teams when needed
- other job duties as assigned.
*qualifications*
- must be fluent in english and spanish both written and spoken
- experience with sales and customer service preferred
- experience/knowledge of autism, children, aba preferred
- professional written & verbal communication
- high attention to detail
- familiarity with gmail products and other systems
- high school diploma or ged

this position is a remote position.

pay: $18,000.00 - $23,000.00 per month

*experience*:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)
- computer skills: 1 year (preferred)
