responsibilities
* lead qa initiatives across api and backend testing, ensuring high‑quality delivery through strong technical guidance and clear quality standards.
* design and execute api test strategies and oversee implementation across the team to guarantee reliability, performance, and coverage.
* drive the adoption and improvement of automated test frameworks, integrating test suites into ci/cd pipelines to accelerate delivery.
* mentor and coach junior and mid‑level qa engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, ownership, and technical excellence.
* collaborate with engineering, devops, and product leaders to define quality‑driven processes and shift‑left testing practices.
* coordinate test planning, execution, and reporting for cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring transparent communication of quality metrics and risks.
* oversee defect management, prioritization, and resolution, ensuring alignment with business impact and release timelines.
* promote best practices in api testing, automation, documentation, and observability, strengthening team maturity and testing efficiency.
* lead continuous improvement initiatives in testing tools, infrastructure, and workflows to enhance operational reliability and testing scalability.
