Objective to implement the sustainability strategy across manufacturing plants in mexico, ensuring environmental and energy regulatory compliance, improving environmental kpis, and leading projects related to emissions, energy, water, and waste reduction. Define and implement sustainability strategies (emissions, energy, water, and waste reduction) per plant in collaboration with the central team. • execute sustainability projects from capex request through full implementation. • ensure compliance with environmental and energy legal requirements, including permits, reports, and operational conditions. • develop and implement internal audit systems focused on environment and sustainability. • coordinate environmental and energy training programs with local hr. • monitor and report environmental kpis (waste, water, energy consumption, and compliance). • identify environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement initiatives. • implement technical and administrative controls, including environmental emergency response systems. Bachelor's degree: engineering, environmental science, sustainability, or related field (master's preferred). 5+ years in environmental, sustainability, or energy roles ~ experience in manufacturing environments ~ expertise in environmental regulations (federal and state) knowledge in water, energy, waste, emissions, and environmental risk management english (proficient)
