we are seeking a highly skilled controls systems expert to join our team.
this dedicated professional will work closely with customers and other engineers to execute complex conveyor systems projects, design and commission controls on site.
the ideal candidate will lead multiple projects on the design stages and on-site controls commissioning.
about the role:
* to engineer and lead the control devices that allow software and hardware systems to perform according to predetermined criteria while adhering to schedule and budget constraints.
* responsibilities include designing, documenting, interpreting specifications, communicating, problem-solving, and on-site commissioning.
* the role requires an understanding of safety work principles and application.
* duties involve completing or developing highly complex material handling systems that integrate hardware and software.
* able to create and implement strategies related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction enhancement.
* successful candidates must possess excellent technical interchange and knowledge transfer skills for both processes and product applications in system design.
* able to locate and apply customer standards as applicable.
* project engineering and leading commissioning tasks at customer sites.
* ensures standard work packages are followed.
* collaborates with department manager on various technical processes, including continuous process improvements.
* communicates, trains, and works with customers for final system design.
* candidates must be able to coordinate with customers reviewing methods, tests, and project acceptance.
* travel up to 25% to different customer locations and dematic facilities.
* able to write plc code and emulate it for complex areas.
* coding includes host communications and interfaces to peripherals such as scanners or printers.
* requires high performance of full range of standard work for professional field.
* applies advanced problem-solving skills independently to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices.
* displays critical thinking in resolving high-impact, complex, and cross-functional problems.
* able to identify and resolve complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in most situations.
* dominates order entry process and knows related documentation.
* dominates dti process and knows related documentation.
* dominates functionality and documentation of conveyor systems and creates dofo discussions.
* able to identify and communicate deviations from the as-sold contract.

qualifications and skills:

* applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in specialization area.
* develops own functional criteria to solve problems.
