currently, we are seeking a sr. Firmware engineer with at least 10 years of experience, based in mexico city, mexico. responsabilidades
* develop device drivers and application firmware for products using 32 bit microcontrollers
* maintain and support existing embedded software
* interfaces with other members of the development team, validation test and field application engineers
* development and maintenance of firmware design documentation.
* develop unit and acceptance tests, and document test procedures
calificaciones
must haves
* bs in computer science or computer engineering
* 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience
* knowledge about microcontrollers and internals is required and able to comprehend hardware specs and schematics
* experience with super loop and rtos architectures
* proficiency in c/c++/python
* familiarity with using digital scopes and logic analyzers
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* must have english language skills
* experience in encryption and cybersecurity methods
* deep understanding of the can protocol, including j1939, j1979, j979-2 and in general the j1962 protocols
strong pluses
* msin computer science preferred
* experience with elinux architecture
* experience with cellular, ble, and wifi protocols
* experience with test automation using scripting languages
* experience with posix programming
* familiarity with communication protocols such as udp and tcp, tls, and http
