Role summarymanager or senior manager to join market access team focused on operations and analytics that drive payer strategy and patient access. Works across in-line and pipeline products, owns key dashboards, partners with it and data vendors, and delivers insights to inform leadership decisions. This role requires onsite presence in the san francisco office on tuesdays and thursdays, including wednesdays in the palo alto office.responsibilitiesdashboard ownership & enhancements: manage and maintain payer, frm, and pal dashboards; partner with it to refine, automate, and improve reporting tools for accuracy and usabilitydata aggregation & integration: serve as primary point of contact with external data aggregators; oversee implementation of new data feeds and refinements to support expanded analyticsclaims data analytics: conduct ad hoc and recurring claims data analyses to assess payer dynamics, access barriers, and patient trends; translate complex datasets into actionable insights for internal stakeholdersmarket access insights & reporting: prepare and deliver weekly/monthly insights reports to market access leadership; highlight trends, risks, and opportunities in payer performance and patient access; monitor payer performance metrics; analyze payer restrictions and assess their impact on access and utilization; analyze patient support and hub services data; collaborate with pricing and contracting team by providing data-driven insightsfield & stakeholder support: provide insights and tailored analyses for field market access teams; support development of quarterly business plans and strategy by providing data-driven insights and trend analysescross-functional collaboration: partner with it, commercial, and market access colleagues to align on reporting priorities and analytics strategy; provide analytical support for ad hoc projects and business needsprocess improvement & data governance: identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows, automation, and standardization; partner with it and compliance to ensure high-quality data, governance, and security practicesqualificationsrequired: bachelor’s degree in analytics, public health, data science, or related fieldpreferred: master’s degreerequired: 5–8 years of experience in analytics, operations, or market access in biopharma, healthcare, or related industryrequired: hands-on experience with claims data, payer analytics, and market access reportingrequired: proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., tableau, power bi) and strong excel/sql skillsrequired: experience working with it teams and external data vendorsrequired: strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skillspreferred: consulting experienceskillsanalytical thinker who can turn data into insightsdetail-oriented and capable of managing multiple prioritiesproactive self-starter who values collaboration and problem solvingstrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesexperience with data visualization, sql, and excel; ability to translate data into actionable guidanceeducationbachelor’s degree in analytics, public health, data science, or related field (master’s preferred)
