Logistics sales analyst
overview: the logistics sales analyst plays a key role in identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities in contract logistics (warehousing, distribution, and value-added services). This role supports the sales cycle from lead generation to proposal preparation, ensuring a strong pipeline aligned with the company's strategy.
key responsibilities
* research and identify potential customers in target industries (e.g., automotive, home appliances, consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, etc.).
* qualify leads and schedule meetings with prospective clients.
* support the preparation of customized proposals, quotations, and presentations.
* work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cost models and tailored solutions.
* maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and opportunities in the crm system.
* monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
* support marketing activities such as trade shows, client visits, and promotional campaigns.
* follow up on new business opportunities and coordinate client meetings to convert leads into active customers.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, international trade, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within logistics or supply chain, or experience in engineering, warehouse operations, or customer service within the logistics industry.
* strong communication and negotiation skills (english preferred).
* analytical and detail-oriented; comfortable working with data and pricing models.
* proactive, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
preferred skills
* understanding of incoterms, 3pl/4pl concepts, and contract logistics processes.
* experience in transportation and freight forwarding.
* intermediate to advanced english level.
* on-site work in querétaro, mexico.
