Job responsibilities:
the sales account manager serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers.
* responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities - both within existing customers, as well as new customers
* provide effective management of sales efforts in support of business plan targets in sales, profitability, and ar performance
* provide regular updates to the sales director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities
* must maintain detailed knowledge of both current and targeted profitability by product group and customer.
* will be responsible for development and successful implementation of innovative new business acquisition strategies within current customer base as well as targeted new customers
* serves as the primary managerial contact for oe/ oes filter customers, and is responsible for ensuring both the customer, as well as all appropriate organizations within m+h are effectively managed
* must be able to effectively communicate both internally and externally of m+h organization in support of key projects
* account manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers
requirements: education:
bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or other technical/ business-related field
experience:
5-10 years' experience in oe/oes sales and/or category management
* experience managing stellantis and gm accounts
* experience in outside sales with oems, or tier 1 automotive/truck suppliers
* current passport and visa
required skills:
- excellent verbal and written english communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- efficiency using microsoft office tools (especially excel, word & powerpoint)
- ability to travel up to 25% (mostly domestic)
- disciplined and able to work well under pressure
preferred skills and requirements:
previous sales experience in passenger car and oem on-highway markets, as well as filtration is highly desired
