Role description this is a full-time on-site role for a controller, located in baja california sur, mexico. The controller will oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights. The controller will also lead the preparation of financial statements, monitor cash flow, and provide strategic financial recommendations to support business growth and success. Qualifications comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting experience in accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting proficiency in financial and accounting software tools and platforms strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to inform decision-making excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking capabilities strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related discipline cpa or related professional certification is a plus prior experience in the tourism, hospitality, or transportation industry is advantageous strong written and verbal communication skills in english; proficiency in spanish is a significant advantage
