job responsibilities
reporting to the production manager, has the responsibility to manage the production equipment/personnel to produce quality parts on time.
he has the responsibility and authority to comply with all activities related to quality and ems should comply with iatf 16949:2016 and iso-14000
directs production/materials personnel in achieving plant goals through: the development of programs to highlight production efficiency progress and stimulation for improvement, establishment of quality attitude in production personnel by insisting on quality production within the established requirements, establishes direction on hiring practices in order to meet customer demand, provides direction of training program, ensures production cost control program is followed, advises the plant manager on all matters pertaining to plant operations.
provide direction and support to all operations.
develop career advancement plan for subordinates.
assist human resources department with appropriate training programs.
satisfy all iatf 16949:2016& iso-14000 requirements in a timely manner.
maintains safe working conditions and procedures.
responsible for insuring all customer requirements are met, satisfying both customer needs and plant requirements, as well as maintain excellent quality regarding all customer requirements.
continues improvement ideas at the area for lay out, working method, 5's and discipline.
feed back to functional areas for any inconvenience in work development.
iatf 16949:2016 audit participation.
who are we looking for?
technical career, bachelor's degree or professional experience equivalent (desired)
minimum 3 years of experience in management
manufacturing engineering, quality standards
and company quality goals knowledge
ability to make operational decisions
ability to shut down production lines in case of contingencies that out in risk the safety of employees or the quality of the products.
ability to troubleshoot any problems within the operational
human resources management (supervision, communication, problem solving, coaching, planning, teamwork, lean manufacturing concepts, etc.)
