responsibilities
* apply specialist knowledge in performing and reviewing processes and procedures across departments to support regional, divisional, and corporate goals.
* participate or lead the design, development, and implementation of processes within the area of expertise.
* provide specialist advice to employees, management, or customers; manage or maintain systems or processes; complete projects to develop or change systems or processes as appropriate.
* support the sourcing of a multi‑million us dollar budget from current and new suppliers and develop the sourcing strategy for the managed categories.
* ensure segregation of duties as per policy while performing tasks such as category management, competitive bidding, negotiation, supplier qualification and selection, industry analysis, and contract administration.
* support initiatives to improve cost‑to‑serve and supply chain innovation, and work across the latam organization to implement corporate, international, or divisional sourcing and procurement initiatives.
* provide updates on results and present business recommendations to upper management.
* effectively manage relationships with suppliers and internal customers, ensuring strict compliance with corporate policies.
* perform other duties as required.
