The reporter will be responsible for covering the day-to-day of mexico markets, including the currency, corporate and sovereign dollar bonds and stocks, as well as pitching in regularly on broader coverage of global emerging markets. The role requires approaching local markets and investment climate not only from a domestic perspective, but also as part of the broader asset class and region.
In addition to the daily coverage, they'll generate scoops on everything from stock offerings to debt sales and people movers in mexico's brokerages. They'll be expected to be a self-starter with excellent communication skills who can coordinate with team mates spread across the region, as well as work across beats, helping out in local coverage outside of markets when needed.

- fluency in spanish is preferred
