* job purpose: maintain secure, reliable, and available databases to support the company's operations, ensuring data integrity, performance and scalability
* duties and responsibilities: -administer and monitor database servers (on-premise and cloud-based)
-design, implement, and optimize databases according to business requirements
-manage schemas, triggers, stored procedures, and access controls to ensure data security and consistency
-maintain documentation of database architecture, configurations, and updates
-collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application integration and performance tuning
-perform regular backups, recovery testing, and disaster recovery planning
