Oversees the day-to-day operations, training, and development of Associates.
Responsible for appraisal & discipline of work team members.
Responsible for providing direction to ensure the Team Leaders are meeting their criteria and ensuring application of policies & procedures.
Communicating with Team members, Peers, Management, and Customers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Outline format w/ action verbs)Ensure compliance with Policies and PracticesEnsure 5S standards are maintainer-Daily verification of items on 5S checklistEnsure & enforce the use of Safety BlocksFollow the lockout/tagout procedureKeep all safety curtains/guards in place during operationReview & submit suggestions to improve the Safety Environment in assigned areasAudit part quality throughout the shiftAssist associate on first/last off part quality at changeoverVerify Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving press area for quality Verfiy that containment pans are being used as specified for batch quantities.Ensure proper containment procedures are followed when poor quality is detectedArrange manpower as needed to meet production requirementsConfirm attendance of Team members and report out to the Group LeaderNorth American Stamping Group is a drug-free and smoke-free workplace.
