as part of the global operations centre (goc), you will work closely with teams across the united states, europe, and asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for an associate director - social who will:
* cultivate and maintain strong relationships with counterparts in groupm regional teams (europe, u.s., asia).
* lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing local social team, fostering a culture of growth, excellence, and continuous improvement. Champion and embody the values of our organizational culture, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
* oversee the quality of work delivered to regional teams, ensuring consistent adherence to high standards and best practices.
* act as the primary point of escalation for the team, taking ownership of challenges and driving effective resolutions.
* provide career development guidance and coaching to direct reports, fostering individual growth and progression.
* directly manage 1 team member and indirectly manage around 10 team members, providing regular feedback and support.
* deliver timely and actionable feedback to team members, recognizing achievements and providing constructive guidance for improvement.
* contribute to capacity planning and resource management for the team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and workload balancing.
* maintain clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization, promoting transparency and collaboration.
* contribute to the development and implementation of paid social media strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
* actively participate in building and nurturing a strong team culture that reflects the company's values and promotes collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect.
skills and experience

* fluency in english.
* minimum of 6 years of experience in paid media execution.
* proven experience managing multi-location media activation teams.
* demonstrated ability to train teams and maintain quality standards at scale.
* experience providing centralized service to local teams.
* deep expertise in paid social media strategy and execution.
* a passion for digital marketing, with a strong understanding of online advertising industry trends.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* proficiency in microsoft office suite (including excel, powerpoint, word) and/or project management tools, and familiarity with agile methodologies.
