Amber studio mexico is seeking an animation technical artist (unity) to provide solutions to the animators and artists to ensure the game runs smoothly for an exciting new game.

the animation technical artist defines and manage all the digital tools to improve and speed up the workflow of artists in the animation department of a project, he must work with the animation software, developing and testing tools, custom features, and add-ons, and making sure it does the best job possible for the animators and layout artists.
*your mission*:
- creation and implementation of a rigging pipeline to use inside unity.
- modify, refine, procedurally adapt, and blend animations inside unity.
- if an animator has a technical problem, you must advice on how to fix it.
- communicating with the artists, designers, and programmers to define the technical needs,
- cooperating with the artists and programmers to fix any potential day-to-day production issues,
- developing tools and solutions to solve performance issues and optimize the game while keeping its visual identity in mind,
- implement complex features in collaboration with the programming team
*your skills*:
- expert knowledge of unity and unity animation systems and tools,
- creating and rigging models for animation inside unity,
- expert knowledge of humaniod avatars, authoring root motion, avatar masks, blending animations, state machine behaviours, animation layers, and all mecanim system functions.
- great understanding of the mobile platforms' limitations,
- good scripting skills and skills in software development in unity,
- experience in a multiplatform 3d game production pipeline (understanding of high and low-poly modeling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, lighting, level art, etc).
