*the role*: third party carriers operations manager
we are looking for a highly driven carrier expansion manager to lead our last-mile expansion initiatives. You will be responsible for rapidly launching and scaling last-mile carrier infrastructure — including new cross-docks, delivery hubs, and regional routes — across mexico.
This is a field-first, execution-driven role. You’ll spend more time at cross-docks, talking to drivers and operators, than in meetings. You will be instrumental in enabling cubbo to grow its delivery network cost-effectively and sustainably, while ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
*requisitos*:
*lead expansion projects*: rapidly launch new cross-docks, delivery hubs, and distribution nodes across strategic geographies in mexico.
*hands-on operations*: be on the ground setting up new sites, negotiating with local vendors, hiring and onboarding operators, and ensuring operational readiness from day 1.
*team leadership*: hire, coach, and manage cross-dock teams and supervisors. Build a strong, performance-oriented culture that values safety, ownership, and accountability.
*stakeholder management*: build trust with drivers, vendors, and field staff. Handle operational escalations, resolve conflicts, and maintain team morale during high-growth and high-pressure phases.
*cost & risk management*: evaluate operational and financial risks when launching new nodes. Maintain an agile but data-informed approach to opening new locations.
*kpi execution*: track and improve key performance indicators including delivery time, cost per package, site readiness timelines, and service quality.
