Overview
ensures that rosemount suppliers and their processes are in compliance with the quality system.
responsibilities
in this role, your responsibilities will be:
1. provide guidance and support to quality teams.
2. manage and monitor first article inspection (fai) activities for the acceptance and/or rejection of parts.
3. manage responsibilities related to the approved supplier list within oracle.
4. update and execute incoming inspection control plans, both in operational practice and within oracle.
5. apply advanced quality planning (aqp) for new parts and suppliers.
6. conduct and approve production part approval process (ppap) submissions for new parts and new suppliers.
7. conduct audits and reviews of suppliers regarding their products, processes, and systems.
8. maintain the supplier supermarket program as required.
9. collect corrective action reports (8ds) and document them within the corrective action management system.
10. assist with the analysis of in-process inspection criteria by reviewing work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and agency files.
11. ensure compliance with the procedures, standards, and specifications established within the quality management system.
qualifications
* 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality management processes
* 1 year of experience working with, developing, or auditing suppliers
* advanced english proficiency
* proficiency in using manual dimensional measurement tools and reading technical drawings
